The hotel facilities were spotless and well-maintained, including a lovely onsen which was very relaxing. Additionally, the location was perfect, with easy access to transportation and nearby restaurants. Breakfast was a standout, offering a variety of high-quality dishes.
Nothing could have been better.

The breakfast was excellent, with a varied selection including fish, rice, vegetables, miso. The hotel had a traditional Japanese style with well-appointed rooms and a beautiful architecture. The location was very convenient, close to restaurants, ski hire, and the bus to other resorts, and just a short walk to the ski lifts.
The pillows were too high and firm, which was uncomfortable for those of us used to softer pillows. It was a minor inconvenience, but it affected our sleep quality.

Great service, convenient location close to ski lifts, and tasty meals were the best aspects of this traditional hotel. The ski drying room was perfect for keeping gear organized and the hot springs were pristine. The staff made an effort to communicate with us clearly despite the language barrier and went out of their way to give us lifts to and from the slopes.
The size of the room and lack of pillows were some of the worst aspects of our stay. The comfort of the bedding wasn't up to Western standards, and the pillows were too hard for our liking. We wished the room was bigger as we felt cramped with all our gear in it. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner and was not stocked with toiletries.

Looking for a great adventure base? This hotel is a standout option. the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable, from providing free shuttles to ski resorts to picking up train tickets. You’ll be blown away by the hotel’s beautiful interiors, designed with an elegant blend of traditional and contemporary Japanese styles. Plus, the in-house onsens are an ideal way to relax after a day on the slopes. Wake up every morning to a delectable traditional breakfast, featuring fresh and delicious dishes like fish, rice, and vegetables. Don't forget to take advantage of their great dry room for your ski clothes. the only downside is the limited parking options.
